Easy Interculteral Perspective Classes at Miami University

Founded in 1809, Miami University-Oxford is a public research university located in Oxford, Ohio. At present, there are about 24,000 students who attend the university, most of whom are undergraduates (22,119).

If you're a student at Miami University-Oxford who has had bad luck selecting classes before, you need to look at the following list of 10 easy classes offered at the college. There's no reason why you should spend time in difficult classes, especially when so many easy ones are offered in a plurality of subjects.

1. CSE 102 - Introduction to Computing and Engineering

A class that is often mistaken to be hard by those students who aren't enrolled in it, CSE 102 is actually one of the easiest courses the college offers. The only form of assessment in this class is a semester-long project; as long as you do well on that, you're more or less guaranteed an A. A photo of a bridge

2. ENG 220 - Literature & Film

In this class, you come once a week and watch a movie. After that, you're assigned a paper on that movie; the paper is due the following week. It's just that simple; it's not hard either. This is one of the best and most recommended classes on the list. An image of film equipment

3. BIO 121 - Environmental Biology

An interesting and engaging course offered by the biology department, this class surveys the broad field of environmental science using local, regional, and global examples. The class also exposes students to a variety of field, survey, and laboratory techniques useful in assessing environmental quality. Expect easy exams and lab assignments in this class, but do remember to show up consistently. An image of the rainforest

4. AMS 211 - Writing with Purpose

A good majority of the professors who teach this course are straightforward, fun, and ready to put in extra effort to help you succeed. You don't need to have a mastery of English at your disposal to do well in this course; attend class regularly and do the assignments, and you'll pass with an easy A. A photo of someone writing

5. MGT 111 - Introduction to Business

If you invest time in studying for the two exams—the midyear exam and the final—you'll almost surely do well in this course. Additionally, attendance is for the most part not required, which means you'll be able to go when you feel like it. And don't worry about missing too much class, because a lot of the associated materials can be found online. A photo of record

6. ENG 213 - Writing for Media

If you're required to write three to four short papers in this class, don't expect anything to be graded too harshly. If you show the professor you have a genuine interest in what you're doing, they'll take note of it and reward you. Just remember, this class is ALL about credibility—it is about journalism after all. An image of someone using multiple media

7. AMS 205 - Intro to American Culture

If you've studied ANYTHING pertaining to US history or US culture before, you'll have an advantage in this class. Attendance is somewhat expected, though some get away with not going consistently. There are three to four tests in this course, all multiple choice. An image of the American flag

8. AMS 207 - America: Global-Intercultural

This is an interesting and easy course offered by the CIT department, one EVERY student at Bay Path should enroll in if they have the opportunity. The exams and assignments are nothing too challenging, but it's the lectures and visiting lecturers who make this class really enjoyable. Learning the finer points of intercultural communication, as it pertains to diversity-related issues, is a worthwhile endeavor that will surely have applications after you graduate. 9. MGT 211 - Introduction to Management

You'll be required to take this class as a business major, but it's one of the easiest classes on the prerequisite list. Not only is attendance optional, the work isn't difficult either. If you show up here and there, and if you're prepared to pass the final, than you should easily get an A at the end of the semester. An image of business management

10. ENG 223 - Strategies for Writers

As the title of this class implies, writing is a big part of the class. You'll be assigned a semester-long project at the beginning of the semester and members of a group to complete it with. If you do well on this project—the project is incredibly easy—then you can expect to leave class at the end of the semester with a good grade. An image of a pen and formal writing

Stick to this list when you're selecting your next round of classes, especially if you're trying to decide what to take to satisfy requirements. There are many classes which seem easy based on their titles, but such turns out not to be the case often: don't find yourself in a situation like this, there's too much at stake when it comes to your education.
